Berta Rojas (born 23 September1966[1]) is a Paraguayan classical guitarist. In 2012 she was nominated for Best Instrumental Album in the Latin Grammys for her album "Día y Medio (A Day and a Half)" which she recorded with Paquito D’Rivera.[2] For her album "Salsa Roja (Red Sauce)", She was nominated at the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards, in the category of Best Classical Album.[3] She got her 3rd nomination on 16th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, for her album "History of Tango", which she recorded with the iconic Camerata Bariloche, for Best Tango Album.[4]

Esperanza Emily Spalding[2] (born October 18, 1984)[3] is an American jazz bassist and singer. Spalding was raised in Portland, Oregon and was a musical prodigy, playing violin in the Chamber Music Society of Oregon at five years old. She was later both self-taught and -trained on a number of instruments, including guitar and bass. Her proficiency earned her scholarships to Portland State University and the Berklee College of Music. In 2017 she was appointed Professor of the Practice of Music at Harvard University.[4]

Nikolai Lugansky (RussianНикола́й Льво́вич Луга́нский; born 26 April 1972) is a Russian pianist from Moscow. At the age of five, before he had learned to read music, he played a Beethoven piano sonata learned completely by ear.[1] He studied piano at the Moscow Central Music School and the Moscow Conservatory. His teachers included Tatiana Kestner,Tatiana Nikolayeva and Sergei Dorensky.

Sol Gabetta (born 18 April 1981) is an Argentine cellist. The daughter of Andrés Gabetta and Irène Timacheff-Gabetta, she has French and Russian ancestry. Her brother Andrés is also a musician, a baroque violinist.

Biography

Gabetta began to learn violin at the age of three, and cello at age four. She continued to study both instruments until age eight, and then switched her focus exclusively to the cello.
